My laptop has none.

It runs 3D games spectacularly, yet it takes freaking decades to load anything. Why? My hard drive speed's not changed, nor has my external; the spec's obviously good enough to run the games so why it struggles to load stuff I don't understand. At any rate, went for a Sony Vaio FW41E - pretty impressive for the price I paid (£779, was £70 off too), will be getting some new games to test it out soon-ish. I'm quite content with Audiosurf now though - it's so pretty on premium ;w;

I think it also came with more software preinstalled than I ever had on my old one. Sony Vaio this, Sony Vaio that...I'll never use any of them except for Me&MyVAIO because it's got a pretty interface despite being utterly useless. Anyway, there is a point to this rant; it came with Adobe Photoshop Elements; and I believe it's the full version (o.O). As a beginning amateur photographer, wonder if anyone's ever heard of it and would recommend me trying it/point me in the direction of any tutorials? I don't even know what it's for, really. But if it's a nice way to edit some photos then I figure I may as well use it

I've also lost Flash after the meltdown :< so no new programming any time soon. Hopefully I'll get a key from somewhere but I'm not keen on pirating it really, and it's ~£280 for CS4 with a student discount, and I've never used it (used to use CS3) so not really sure if I want to splash out.

Uni in two weeks exactly! (It's got close enough that I don't need no stinkin' countdown - suck on that old laptop!) I'm excited but also kind of...not. Everyone else has started already ¬_¬ Pretty much got everything I'll ever _not need, having returned the expensive toaster and bought an even more expensive one but at least that one doesn't burn everything and/or smell of a physics lab even on the fifth use. I could've made do but noooo, must return it. Yeah, I can't wait to go to uni.
